As only he can, Morgan Freeman narrates this wonderful story of life and survival in Born to Be Wild 3D. It depicts not only animals in their habitat, but the vital survival instinct. This heartwarming film is perfect for teaching children about caring for animals and how they are not so different from us. Love, family relationships, friendships can all be seen in the lives of these animals. But in contrast, every day is a fight to remain alive.
Watching the lives of these animals in their natural habitat is fascinating and shows us how precious life is to each of us. Something that we also see is that animals have to work out their problems, just as humans have to. You need to be warned though, because the outcomes of some are not exactly pretty. This fabulous documentary of Born to Be Wild will be at movie theaters on April 8, 2011.
The whole family will adore this story of love and family life in the rainforest. It takes place in the stunning rainforests of Borneo, which is just north of Australia. You will enter the lives of orangutans and elephants as fights pursue and the young are left stranded. If this continues to happen without the help and kindness of strangers then the hope for their survival is bleak.
The main characters besides the animals are Doctor Birute Galdikas and Dame Daphne Sheldrik, who have devoted their lives to innocent young creatures. Their mission is to help young animals that may have been left on their own when a parent dies. Lucky for us, they have filmed these scenes with these animals to create this incredible documentary.
This type of kindness only shows that there are still some good people in our world. Even when their lives are at risk, they are determined to save the young animals who would not survive without them. Once they have been rehabilitated and taught survival skills they are introduced back into the wild to be free once more.
What a heartwarming scene, when one of these young animals is able to go back to his home because the humans have saved him.
It is only being shown only in IMAX. Your family will love Born to be Wild 3D and it is a great learning tool to see how animals in the wild survive in their cruel world.
